![]() And in all the other things that needed fixing before launch, we didn't quite realize that we would also have to change the base of how we save progress to accommodate how BlipBlop had changed. That included BlipBlop progress as at the time BlipBlop was a rather small and simple concept that you would not spend more then a few minutes playing (in the same vein as the Love app and BlipCoin).īut design changes over time, BlipBlop changed a lot over the development, and was made into its own proper clicker game (that people would actually spend time on). In the original design when we built the saving system, you could go "freely" to any checkpoint in the game, and that you would be in the state you were in, when you last entered the checkpoint. That is what the patch after New year's is going to change / fix. Originally posted by irreversiblex:Isn't it easier and better for design to let blipblop progress save separately from checkpoints? So you only lose it if you start new game. Someone please help, I don't understand this saving system at all lol I guess I'm going to have to advance more in the story to find a new save trigger to save more progress? I guess that answers the question :) My plan is to stay here until I get 10000% prestige bonusĮdit #2: found out the save trigger doesn't work the second time. Sorry for my horrible english, and thanks for reading!Įdit: oh my god, I just found the saving trigger in my room, I'm such an idiot lol So again, does quitting the game at this stage mean I lose all my blips? Now I'm too afraid to quit the game, because maybe I will lose my blipblop progress. ![]() ![]() I prestiged a few times (currently 10x), but when I wanted to quit the game, it said: I'm currently standing next to my bed, just woken up, and the only thing I've done so far is booting up my phone and playing blip blop. TL:DR: Does the game save blip blop progress even if you havent made any progress in the main game? I have a question regarding the saving system in the game. ![]()
